In the Hoge Kempen National Park, 10 walking routes have been awarded the European quality label Leading Quality Trail – Best of Europe, Day Walk, presented by the European Hiking Federation. These Top Trails meet strict quality requirements in terms of landscape variety, presence of natural and cultural values, signposting and infrastructure.

A good example of this is this walk, which takes you past historic water mills in the northern part. Thanks to the boardwalks, you can keep your feet dry in the wet areas. In the southern part of the walk, you will find yourself on the edge of the Kempen Plateau with its forests and meadows.
