Duinengordel - red - 13,3 km
Nationaal Park Hoge Kempen
This long hike introduces you to the Bosbeekvallei and the vast woodlands in Solterheide.
Extensive description CloseThe Bosbeek originates in As and winds through a varied landscape to Maaseik, where it flows into the Maas in Aldeneik. Due to its steep gradient, several watermills were built along it. It is one of the least disturbed and most nature-rich streams in Flanders. Along the Bosbeek are several marsh areas and humid meadows, a beautiful nature reserve managed by Natuurpunt.
