This medium-length hike introduces you to the long and the double spoil tip with beautiful views over the former mining landscape of Terhills. You also pass the pontoon bridge over the large pond.
Extensive description CloseIn the Hoge Kempen National Park, 10 walking routes have been awarded the European quality label Leading Quality Trail – Best of Europe, Day Walk, presented by the European Hiking Federation. These Top Trails meet strict quality requirements in terms of landscape variety, natural and cultural values, signage and infrastructure.
So you can expect a top-quality walking route: you will walk over the cycle and footbridge between the mine spoil tips and climb both the long spoil tip (panorama spoil tip) and the twin spoil tip, for two beautiful views.
