Extensive description CloseAfter leaving the village, you hike through the nature reserve het Areven, a moist area with woodlands, fields, and hay meadows. Further on, the route takes you over a dry sand ridge called the Boberden. Here you mainly hike through pine forest. Along the Grensweg, you have views of woodlands and fields with large herbivores. During the hike, you pass two mills: the windmill De Nijverheid, also known as the mill of Nijs, and the watermill de Broekmolen. Unfortunately, the water wheel of this watermill is not visible from the road. You hike here right along the border with Belgium back to the village of Stramproy.
