In hiking area Stramproy-Tungelroy you will find a varied landscape, old buildings, chapels and wayside crosses. The blue route leads you through the village, past the reconstruction of the Roman Bridge and along the Tungelroyse Beek.

Extensive description Close

The bridge from 27 AD was originally built over the narrowest part of the Tungelroyse beek. It was reconstructed a bit further on some time ago to avoid damaging the original remains in the soil. You hike between fields and meadows, with small woodland areas providing variety here and there. You also pass the meandering Tungelroyse beek at intervals and come across a chapel and a cross in hornbeam.
