The ponds you pass along this yellow hike are the favorite terrain for marsh birds, such as the bluethroat and water rail. The bittern comes here in winter to search for food. The wood lark, tree pipit, European stonechat, and viviparous lizard find the ideal habitat in the heathland relics. Honey buzzard, goshawk, common buzzard, and hobby are breeding birds.
