Extensive description Close

The ponds of the Munsterbos are the preferred habitat for marsh birds, such as the bluethroat and the water rail. The bittern comes here in winter to search for food. The woodlark, tree pipit, redstart, and viviparous lizard find the ideal living environment in the heathland relics. Honey buzzard, goshawk, common buzzard, and hobby are breeding birds.
