Extensive description Close

The ponds of the Munsterbos are a favorite habitat for marsh birds, such as the bluethroat and the water rail. The bittern comes here in winter to search for food. The woodlark, wood pipit, redstart, and the viviparous lizard find the ideal living environment in the heathland relics. Honey buzzard, goshawk, common buzzard, and hobby are breeding birds.
