The orange hike promises you a wooded journey through the Mechels Bos to the old station of Eisden.
Extensive description CloseThe small station of Eisden, terminus of the Kolenspoor. The last coal train departed in 1987, passenger traffic had been discontinued earlier. The wooden station building burned down completely and was later rebuilt as a tavern.
The old outbuildings of the station were also rebuilt later and converted into hikers' huts.
