Hike along the charming villages of Opitter and Tongerlo or explore the Zuid-Willemsvaart. Let yourself be surprised by the many watermills or the beer brewing process at the brewery in Opitter. With some luck, you might spot the kingfisher or the yellowhammer, and in spring you will feel like you are in De Brand at times in a tropical rainforest when the mysterious tree frogs try to outdo each other with their calls.
