Extensive description CloseThe hiking area is a place of contrasts with on one side the vast fields at the foot of the Kempens Plateau and on the other side the small-scale landscape of De Brand in Voorshoven. Hike along the charming villages of Opitter and Tongerlo or explore the Zuid-Willemsvaart. Be surprised by the many watermills or the beer brewing process at the brewery in Opitter. With some luck, you may spot the kingfisher or the yellowhammer, and in spring, you will feel like you are in a tropical rainforest in De Brand when the mysterious tree frogs try to outcall each other. Agriculture, nature, and water alternate. KempenBroek at its best!
