A special piece of nature
On the border of Hechtel-Eksel and Peer, you discover in Resterheide the area of the Zwarte Beek and the Bollissenbeek. Although the name 'heathland' suggests otherwise, here you'll find a unique mix of nature and agriculture, where every hiking path offers a new experience.
Tip: Don’t forget your binoculars! From the lookout tower, you get a spectacular view over the ponds and can spot even more special water birds. For more information about your visit, check Nationaal Park Bosland or Natuurpunt Hechtel-Eksel.
