Extensive description Close

Let yourself be surprised by the versatile Resterheide: nature, history, and adventure. Explore the orange hiking route and experience the best of Resterheide!

Start your journey along the serene fishing pond and climb the tall viewing tower for a panoramic view over the water. Be sure to bring your binoculars to spot the many water birds.

Then dive into the woodland and hike along a varied landscape with open fields and wooded edges. It is hard to imagine that just two generations ago, only heathland and wasteland could be found here.
