Pietersheim - yellow - 12,5 km
Nationaal Park Hoge Kempen
This hiking route introduces you to the woodlands of Pietersheim and the heathland of the Ziepbeekvallei.
Extensive description CloseYou are hiking along the steep edge of the Kempisch Plateau. Perpendicular to this edge, flowing rain and meltwater carved out small valleys. Sometimes water still flows through these dales (Asbeek, Ziepbeek), but often the water has disappeared. These are called "dry valleys." Expect some (steep) climbs!
