Paal - yellow - 6,6 km

The yellow route starts in the center of Paal. Through quiet village streets, the route leads you to the edge of the Valley of the Zwarte Beek. You will discover some beautiful holloways – with their typical vegetation – and are treated to a stunning view of the valley. 

Along the way, you pass the Gestelse Molen. This is an old watermill on the Zwarte Beek (currently privately owned). Here you can briefly deviate from the route to take a look at a part of the Valley of the Zwarte Beek that is managed here by Natuurpunt. 

The route does not pass through a nature reserve, so there are somewhat more paved roads along the way than in our other hiking areas. These are mostly quiet back roads.
