Extensive description Close

The Kleine Herk and several tributaries have carved their valleys into this landscape. From the village of Kerniel, you can enjoy a stunning view of the abbey and the surrounding meadows and tall-stemmed orchards. Hidden in the folds of the landscape are ponds, rough areas, and humid grasslands. Along the way, you will pass landscape artworks by Aenea Wilder and Will Beckers.

Due to damage to the bridge on the cycle and walking route in Colen (Kerniel), the footpaths both above and below the bridge are closed.
