Extensive description Close

The orange route leads you through the Koerselse woodlands, heathland, and meadows, sharing a section with the sensory trail that features fun experiential elements for everyone. You just miss passing the large playground with a lookout tower, so it's ideal if that isn’t in your day's plan... Of course, you can take a small detour of about 100 meters to still climb the lookout tower by the playground.

Koersels Kapelleke is the perfect outing for families with small children. Start or end at the large playground, right in the middle of the woodland, where children can have a great time. Or climb the nearly 30-meter-high tower, which offers a beautiful view over the Kempense landscape. You hike between the trees or over the heathland. Along the red route, you can hike over boardwalks and discover the unique vegetation in the Valley of the Zwarte Beek. Be sure to also visit Visitor Center De Watersnip<a href="http://www.dewatersnip.be/"> where you can learn about the flora and fauna of the Valley of the Zwarte Beek in a fun and playful way. Naturally, a pancake or ice cream at one of the hospitality venues should not be missed!
