The hiking area takes you through the valley of the Abeek and through the valley of the Jongemansbeek. The valley of the Abeek is still an intact biotope; the stream was never straightened, and the water management has been preserved almost in its original state. Along the way, you pass several charactaristic watermills. In the wet areas near the streams, you will find reed beds, ponds, old alder bogs, and flower-rich hay meadows. No fewer than 11 routes guide you on your way: the longest, the Molenroute, offers 20.5 km of hiking enjoyment! Or create your ideal hike by connecting loops via the hiking switches.
