Inn De Swaen
Afspanning De Swaen in ’s-Gravenvoeren (Voeren) was already a resting place for horse and traveler in the 16th century halfway along the post coach route Liège-Aachen. The current building dates from 1727 and is located in one of the most beautiful spots in the Voerstreek, in the Kinkenberg district, right next to the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwkapel and an iron water pump.
Today it is the perfect place to enjoy regional dishes on the terrace, in the taproom or the restaurant, such as fried tripes with apple slices, or trout prepared in the Voerense style, fresh from the breeding farm in Sint-Pietersvoeren.
Or enjoy one of the more than 30 special beer varieties, including the locally brewed Rick's, and our special tea and coffee, made from freshly roasted coffee beans from Blanche Dael, located on Wolfstraat in Maastricht.
Since 2008, we also have a banquet hall for groups up to 80 people.
