The Pierkespad takes you through the enchanting Kolisbos, where you can enjoy a mix of birch and oak woodland, interspersed with majestic pines. Through the woodland winds the Kolisloop, which further on flows into the Warmbeek. The gentle babbling of the water makes this a magical place for young and old.

An impressive starting point 

The route begins at Torenstraat, where you cannot miss the 25-meter high fire tower. This sturdy tower plays an important role: forest rangers keep a close watch on nature during dry periods to quickly detect forest fires.
