On this somewhat longer route, you get to know the wet swamp woodlands of Ten Haagdoorn and the transition between heathland and swamp. You might even encounter the flock of sheep! In Kelchterhoef, get your feet wet on the holloway bridge. Bring your picnic and enjoy the view of the picnic island; you do have to take off your shoes to get there! This hiking route combines the best of the Kelchterhoef estate and Ten Haagdoorn: ponds, heathland, and woodlands – definitely worth it!
