Those who love a sturdy hiking tour can follow the red route from Jachthaven De Meerpaal. This leads you past the most beautiful spots in the Heuvelse Heide: through the coniferous woodland, along the pond, past the canal and the small waterways.
Extensive description CloseTip: In Lommel-Kolonie you will find the nature reserve De Watering with its uniquely preserved flooded meadows, where no less than 350 plant species and 120 different bird species have been counted. This area is only accessible to a limited extent due to its high natural value.
