Dauteweyers - Dorpsbemden - yellow - 3,9 km

The yellow route was created to give wheelchair users and strollers the opportunity to explore this water-rich area. The hike takes you to the Dauteweyers and lets you enjoy the banks of the Kaatsbeek.

This hiking area in the southernmost part of the Wijers guides you past a great variety of landscapes around Diepenbeek. The entire area is extremely water-rich. There are several ponds with overgrown zones. Around these ponds are alder carr woodlands and humid meadows. Together, these form the ideal habitat for the rare tree frog that feels at home here.
Throughout the area, the Demer, the Kaatsbeek, the Stiemerbeek, and the Laak meander.
