Domein Kiewit is the ideal starting point for a short hike with the whole family. On this route, you will discover some typical 'Wijers'; we even let you literally hike 'through the water.'

The orange route connects Domein Kiewit with Bokrijk via numerous ponds. We also literally let you hike through the water so you can discover the ponds from a completely different perspective. The route is accessible for sturdy hiking strollers. Due to stumps on the woodland paths and sections of boardwalk, the route is less suitable for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. This orange route is also the only true 'Robbie Roerdomp Route': the crazy bird Robbie Roerdomp takes children aged 6 to 10 on a journey through the land of 1001 ponds and lets them fully discover nature. Collect your free game card at the Robbie sign in the courtyard of Domein Kiewit and go on an adventure hike. There is a dog park located near Nieuwe Heidestraat. At Borggravevijversstraat there is also a dog off-leash woodland.
Picnic bench(es) available along the way
Sturdy shoes or boots recommended after wet periods.
Slip hazard: the boardwalks can be slippery.
At the main buildings of Domein Kiewit, (wheelchair accessible) public toilet facilities are available.
