This short hike introduces you to the steep edge of the 'Hoge Kempen'. In a short distance, you overcome a height of approximately 30m. At the top of the steep edge, you are treated to a view over the nature reserve Bergerven, and on clear days even as far as Germany.
Extensive description CloseBergerven is a nature reserve managed by Limburgs Landschap vzw. The area is characterized by the water ponds left behind after the gravel extraction in this area. It is a paradise for many waterfowl.
