Wine Estate Montepertini
The bottle on the table and the feet underneath. Clinking glasses and talking, a laugh and a tear. But always together. ‘Insieme,’ as they say here. Fabio and Laura Celli-Vanbael combine Limburg hospitality with Italian warmth. You notice it immediately when you settle on the idyllic wine terrace of their authentic farmstead in Mopertingen. In this beautiful part of Haspengouw, you toast to life and forge friendly, family, and professional bonds.
In the shade of the winery and vinification room, you can taste typical regional products, finger food, and of course their own Montepertini creations. These lively and aromatic wines stem from a sustainable mission: respect for nature and optimal use of everything the vineyard produces. This vision also forms the basis for their distillates, 100% local and made from the press residues.
Fairy-tale or knightly?
Want to end your family outing or bike tour with a visit to one of the vineyards? That’s perfectly possible. The site under the bend of the Albertkanaal in Eigenbilzen is the perfect setting for a magical evening. It becomes even more enchanting at the Montepertini estate near Alden Biesen. At the historic gateway to the impressive castle domain, a state-of-the-art four-hectare wine estate will soon rise. Here you can enjoy a majestic view over Limburg.
The sweet life
Soon the assortment will expand further. And thus the Celli family moves ever closer to their dream: their own top range of Belgian wines. Nowhere do they taste better than on this cozy terrace, right in the Limburg greenery. Where truly everyone is welcome: the casual passerby, the curious wine lover, the interested tourist, and the genuine bon vivant. And even the very little ones join the tasting here. Not of the wine, but of ‘la dolce vita’!
Fabio and Laura also organize tailor-made packages. Be sure to ask about the extensive possibilities.
