't Huys van Steyns

logies

The history of this manor house dates back to 1892, when Louis Steyns started the production of the prestigious shoe brand Ambiorix in Tongeren. This “shoe history” can be subtly found throughout the entire hotel.
You can enjoy breakfast in the beautiful orangery overlooking the garden. The rooms feature high ceilings, natural stone fireplace mantels, crystal chandeliers, richly patterned wallpaper, parquet floors, and offer all modern comforts. You can relax in the reading room where drinks, coffee, newspapers, and magazines are available.
This newest hotel is incredibly close to the station, shopping streets, and the largest antique market in the Benelux. The Gallo-Roman Museum, the Beguinage, the medieval city walls, the Moerepoort, and more are all within hiking distance.
Moreover, at this hotel, you are not dependent on public parking garages as there is private parking on site as well as a secure bicycle storage.
Charging electric vehicles (Tesla and other models) is also possible here.
