Accommodation Het Hemelsveld is a characterful vierkantshoeve in Alken, just 10 km from Hasselt and Sint-Truiden, in the heart of Haspengouw. Paul and Diantha welcome you to their authentic farmstead with a large garden, offering four holiday accommodations for 4 to 6 people.

The accommodation is ideal for a romantic stay for two, a family holiday with children, a few days out with friends, or a larger family gathering. For special occasions, Paul and Diantha are happy to assist you. It is also a good base for business trips due to its central location in Limburg.

Each apartment has a private entrance, separate bedrooms, air conditioning, spacious living room, modern bathroom with rain shower, and a fully equipped kitchen. Bed, bath, and kitchen linen are provided. Water, tea, and coffee (filter and Nespresso) are complimentary. Guests have free wifi, Netflix, and (secured) parking.

On request, an "Alkens breakfast" is delivered to your door in the morning, a richly filled picnic basket with local and homemade treats. On sunny days, you can also order an extensive BBQ package with organic meat, vegetables, and salads.

You can relax in the infrared sauna, the peaceful garden, and sun terraces. For children, there is a large trampoline, swings, outdoor toys, and a pétanque court for enjoyable summer evenings with family and friends.

Alken is the perfect base to explore the fruit and blossom region. Visit the charming Sint-Truiden or Hasselt, discover Limburg by bike or Vespa on one of the many bike trails, and enjoy Limburg’s gastronomy! Limburg is the ultimate hiking and cycling paradise of Flanders. On the border between Alken and Hasselt, you will find De Mombeekvallei, hidden among meadows and broekbos woodlands, definitely worth discovering. Het Hemelsveld is also recognized as cycling accommodation with e-bike rental, located between bike nodes 174 and 178.
