Spacious apartment in authentic farm in Haspengouw

Accommodation Het Hemelsveld is a characterful square farmstead in Alken, just 10 km from Hasselt and Sint-Truiden, in the heart of Haspengouw. Paul and Diantha welcome you to their authentic farmstead with a large garden.

Den Hooyzolder is an apartment of over 90m², where you can stay with up to six people. The first room breathes the loft atmosphere, with a large living and dining room with a comfortable sofa bed, equipped kitchen, and large TV area. A super kingsize box spring completes the whole. Through the bathroom with rain shower, you reach a second, spacious bedroom. Downstairs in the hall is a separate toilet. On warm days, air conditioning provides cooling. Bed, bath, and kitchen linen is provided. For the little ones, there is a free high chair and crib with mattress. Water, tea, and coffee (filter and Nespresso) are on the house. There is also free wifi, Netflix, and (locked) parking.

On request, an 'Alkens breakfast' is delivered to the door in the morning, in the form of a generously filled picnic basket with local and homemade treats. On sunny days, you can also order an extensive BBQ package with organic meat, vegetables, and salads.

You can relax wonderfully in the infrared sauna, the quiet garden, and sun terraces. For the children, there is a large trampoline, swings, and outdoor toys, and a pétanque court for cozy summer evenings with family and friends. During the harvest season, you can also enjoy the cherries, apples, forest fruits, and walnuts in the garden.

Alken is the perfect base to explore the fruit and blossom region. Visit the charming Sint-Truiden or Hasselt, discover Limburg on one of the many bike trails, and enjoy Limburg gastronomy. Ask Paul & Diantha for their personal tips for fun outings and delicious restaurants in the area.
