In the middle of the beautiful landscape of the Voerstreek, in the hamlet of Veurs, lies the stylish 8-person holiday home called Veurzerbron. In 2013, Francis Haccourt decided to restore a neglected half-timbered farmstead. During the renovation process, the characteristic elements of the building were carefully preserved and the oak half-timbering was expertly renewed. Part of the old half-timbered farmstead was transformed into the charming Veurzerbron, a holiday home that combines the atmosphere of the past with modern high-quality finishes. With sincere hospitality, Francis will welcome you to this unique location, where you can, according to their description, "enjoy indulgence and relaxation."

Surrounding the house are several award-winning bike and hiking trails, making this place the ideal base to explore the Voerstreek. About 3 kilometers away lies the Burgundian village of Aubel, known for its cozy terraces and artisanal local market. Moreover, the vibrant cities of Liège, Aachen, and Maastricht are only a 20-minute drive from your accommodation.

Prefer to stay even closer to home? Around the corner, you will find the terrace of mother Jetteke, transformed into a brasserie-like, cozy meeting place for hikers and cyclists. The menu features local beers, regional wines, and small dishes. Be sure to also drop by the authentic grocery shop of Jetteke, the smallest supermarket in the Benelux. Here you can find your daily necessities and take a step back in time.
