’t Dorpshuys, located in the Bosbeekvallei, is the ideal spot for nature experiences, sightseeing, water sports, or shopping.

From our holiday home, you can start a relaxing trip on foot, by bike, or mountain bike through the surrounding natural areas of the Nationaal Park Hoge Kempen with the Duinengordel, Bergerven, the Donderslag, and Solterheide… cross-border cycling is even possible.

Water sports enthusiasts can go to RivierPark Maasvallei for stand-up paddleboarding on the Maasplassen or for an adventurous kayaking or rafting trip on the Maas!
Shoppers can indulge in Maasmechelen Village, Genk, Bree, Maaseik, or just across the border in Maastricht.

Our holiday home ’t Dorpshuys, the historic old town hall of Opoeteren, can be rented for up to 12 people for a minimum of 2 nights and is wheelchair accessible, with an adapted room on the ground floor.

With 4 stars, we offer you plenty of comfort: 5 bedrooms with WC/shower, air conditioning, wifi, and a smart TV. The living space downstairs has a large kitchen with a comfortable dining and seating area with a smart TV.

Do you love the outdoors? There are three large terraces to enjoy together, relax, or sunbathe. Parasols covering a total of 25 m² protect you from the heat when you relax on our new lounge terrace. Culinary enjoyment on beautiful evenings is possible with our large gas BBQ.

For relaxation, there is a real pétanque court, and children can burn off their energy in our spacious, sustainably designed playground.
