Fully renovated, high-quality finished half-timbered house!
Amidst the Voerstreek lies the beautiful 8-person holiday home called Bie Jetteke. Some time ago, B&B rooms were rented here, but owner Francis Haccourt decided a few years ago to transform these B&B rooms into one holiday home. During the renovation, he preserved as many characteristic elements as possible and had the oak half-timbering expertly restored. The result is a unique holiday home with a vintage style and the high-quality finish of today. The home is named after the popular grocery shop located at the front of the house, lovingly run by Francis’ mother Jetteke.
To enter the house, you must cross the terrace of the cozy, adjacent brasserie. Then step inside the inviting living area, divided into dining and sitting sections. In the sitting area, you and your party can comfortably lounge on the large corner sofa arranged around the wood stove and flat-screen TV. Adjacent to the large wooden dining table is a modern kitchen equipped with all conveniences. The kitchen includes a 4-burner ceramic stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and coffee machine. Upstairs, there are four atmospherically furnished double bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The ensuite bathrooms are equipped with a rain shower, toilet, and washbasin.
During your stay, you have access to a pleasant private garden and private terrace, where you can sit undisturbed and enjoy views over the beautiful landscape. On the grounds, there is also a communal jeu-de-boules court. Moreover, several award-winning bike and hiking trails run around the house, making this place the perfect base to explore the Voerstreek.
