Begijnhof 9
Begijnhof 9 is a fully renovated beguinage house, located opposite the entrance of the Begijnhofkerk with a large garden accessible from the Begijnhofparking.
The house is ideal for a family with young children. The attic is one large room with a double bed for the parents on one side and two single beds and a baby cot on the other side. In the middle is the bathroom with a bath, toilet, and sink.
On the ground floor, you enter through the dining room which connects to the kitchen, and then continue through to the living room. Between the Begijnhofparking and the house, children are free to play on the lawn of the fenced garden. Four-legged friends are welcome, and this garden is a 'must have' for them as well.
The house received a 4-star comfort rating and is fully equipped with all household appliances including a dishwasher and washing machine. The coffee is ready in the cupboard.
The Begijnhof of Sint-Truiden is part of the UNESCO heritage and stunning 14th-century murals have been uncovered in the church (https://www.sint-truiden.be/begijnhofkerk).
The historic city center is within hiking distance and is richly supplied with dining and drinking establishments. On the other side of the Begijnhof is the castle estate 'Speelhof' where a brasserie, a playground, a farmstead, a dog play meadow, and a rose garden will enhance your visit. Cyclists can connect here to the fietsroutenetwerk.
Businesspeople visiting one of the internationally operating companies in our region can also choose this house as temporary accommodation instead of a traditional hotel room. The way we handle heritage and the warm, homely atmosphere of this accommodation will only strengthen their positive impression of our vibrant city and dynamic region.
