B&B De Romeinse Katzei

B&B De Romeinse Katzei is located on one of the steepest slopes that Borgloon has to offer, right next to node 151 of the bike trail network. It is the ideal base for hiking or cycling to visit the Doorkijkkerkje and De Zwevende Kapel.
Our B&B is situated right in the middle between these two highlights. The iconic cycling routes Vlaanderenroute and Heuvelroute also pass right by our door.

We have 7 guest rooms, each with its own bathroom equipped with a rain shower, sink, toilet, towels, hairdryer, and toiletries. A welcome drink is waiting for you in the room!
The entire accommodation has underfloor heating and automatic ventilation.
In the breakfast room, you have access to an honesty bar stocked with local beers, wines, fruit juices, soft drinks, and waters.
Breakfast consists of local and homemade products and is served in the breakfast room or, in good weather, outside on the terrace. Breakfast is served buffet style.

Enjoy a fresh Limburg local beer or taste our own white wine (Chardonnay harvest 2022) on our southern terrace with a view of the vineyard. Or have a game of pétanque.
Lunch packages or picnic baskets are available on request.
During the summer months, we offer the possibility of table barbecue. In winter, we make it even cozier inside, not only with a wood stove but also with a gourmet set. Or come and taste our Romeinse Katzei snack platter.

Explore the beautiful landscape of Borgloon together with our donkeys.
We have developed 2 loop hikes for you: a first loop hike of 7.5 km featuring the Doorkijkkerkje as the highlight, and a second hike with De Zwevende Kapel as the top destination.
