Ballasthoeve

De Ballasthoeve is an old ‘brown’ style café with two garden terraces and a playground for the little ones. You can enjoy a tasty Belgian Pint and/or a coffee with Limburg vlaai. It is located in the Limburg Kempen, synonymous with lots of woodland, greenery, and nature. You can also stay overnight in the lodging or at the camping site.

As a Host of Bosland, I am part of a network of entrepreneurs who provide visitors and guests with quality information about Bosland: the largest adventure woodland in Flanders. This vast nature reserve of 5137 ha in North Limburg stretches across the municipalities of Hechtel-Eksel, Pelt, Peer, and Lommel and mainly consists of woodlands, heathland, grasslands, and stream valleys.

Bosland preserves and develops its beautiful and high-quality nature but also makes it as accessible as possible to the general public.
