Holiday home the Old Shoemaker's is located in the idyllic village of Teuven, just a few kilometers from the Dutch border. This holiday home has everything you need for a relaxing and romantic stay in the Voerstreek. As soon as you step through the door, you experience a feeling of nostalgia and tranquility. A moment of doing nothing. A moment to enjoy each other and nature together.

As the name suggests, a shoemaker’s workshop was established in this building for a long time. The current owners chose to transform the building into a special holiday home and rolled up their sleeves to make this happen. During the renovation, only authentic and natural materials were used, environmentally friendly materials when possible. For example, there was extensive use of wood and clay, and a pellet stove was installed. Furthermore, the home is furnished with atmosphere and attention to detail. Special decorative items can be admired everywhere, such as the old shoe molds found in the attic.

The holiday home is surrounded by natural beauty. As soon as you step outside, you are welcomed by fragrant flowers and plants. At the front of the home, there is a lovely terrace from which you have a wide view over the hamlet of Sinnich. Next to the terrace, you can also make use of the spacious garden at the rear of the house. We also highly recommend exploring the surroundings. Teuven is truly a paradise for hikers and cyclists.
