The 4-person holiday home Driesenhof radiates character and is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This holiday home, located on a dirt track between the villages of Teuven and Sippenaeken, offers plenty of peace, privacy, and space. Furthermore, the home is equipped with all modern luxury conveniences.

In 2002, Paul and Marjon’s interest was sparked by the following advertisement:
“Half-timbered farmhouse in the Voerstreek. In a unique location near the Bovenste Bos, just over the border in Belgium, in a protected area. Farmhouse with stables on a plot of 4,039 m2. For lovers of silence, solitude, gardening, and hiking. Maastricht, Heerlen, Liège and Aachen nearby.”
When Marjon and Paul went to view the farmhouse, they were immediately very impressed. They embarked on a lengthy renovation and restoration under monument care. They used as many ecological materials as possible and preserved authentic details wherever possible. The barn with stables was converted into their private residence, and the half-timbered house was transformed into a beautiful guesthouse.

The outdoors is also delightful! You have access to a lovely garden where you can always find a sunny spot. During the summer season, the orchard invites you to pick various kinds of fruit. Moreover, Driesenhof is situated in a beautiful, green environment worth exploring by hiking or cycling. During your trips through the woodlands and rolling fields, you will regularly cross the border between Belgium and the Netherlands.
