Attractive authentic house on a medieval courtyard in the Voer region

logies

Between the enchanting valleys and stream valleys of the Belgian Voerstreek lies the 8-person holiday home “Het Oude Huis.” This authentic timber-framed house, dating from the 16th century, exudes a warm and nostalgic atmosphere thanks to its centuries-old beams, clay walls, characteristic red tiles, and wooden furniture. Whether you come as a couple, hiker, or family with young children, Het Oude Huis offers a comfortable accommodation.

Originally built in the 16th century, the timber-framed house was split and expanded on the west side around 1750. Due to its dilapidated state, the entire building was first dismantled. The wooden frame was carefully restored, with the panels filled with clay and woven willow branches. Later, Het Oude Huis was transformed into the charming holiday home it is today.

Guests of Het Oude Huis can enjoy sitting in the sun on their private terrace (facing south), but can also make use of the communal garden shared with guests from the nearby holiday homes.
