Attractive authentic house on a medieval courtyard in the Voer region
Between the enchanting valleys and stream valleys of the Belgian Voerstreek lies the Wentelhuis, a holiday home suitable for five people. This authentic half-timbered house has been lovingly renovated, tastefully furnished, and equipped with all comforts, making you feel at home quickly. The Wentelhuis gets its name from its old cast iron spiral staircase.
You enter the hall, where there is a cloakroom and a separate toilet. Through the characteristic stained glass door, you enter the dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner ceramic stove, small oven, microwave (on request), fridge with freezer compartment, coffee maker, and kettle. In addition, there is a wood stove in the monumental fireplace that provides warmth and coziness. Via the blue cast iron spiral staircase, you reach the first floor, where a cozy sitting area with a television is located. Games and books can be found at the desk around the corner. There is also a snug sleeping spot in the niche. On the second floor awaits a romantic bedroom with an oak floor and abundant sunlight. This bedroom has its own walk-in shower and elegant washbasin. The third floor houses the last bedroom, complete with a double bed and a single bed. This bedroom also has its own shower and washbasin, plus a breathtaking view over the hills.
Guests of the Wentelhuis can enjoy the sun on their terrace in the characteristic courtyard but can also use the shared garden, which is shared with guests from the nearby holiday homes. Outside, there is also a fire bowl that guarantees cozy evenings. Of course, children have been thought of as well. There is a swing, slide, and sandbox available for them.
