The Schulensbroek is one of the largest nature reserves in Flanders and benefits from European protection! Many plant and animal species have found their home here. A lake, extensive grasslands and meadows, ponds, and numerous landscape features, such as pollarded willows, hawthorn and blackthorn hedges, provide ample nesting sites and food.
