Roclenge/Eben-Emael - yellow - 14,0 km
Long route through a varied landscape of fields, meadows and woodlands. You also pass the distinctive tower of Eben-Ezer.
Extensive description CloseIn Roclenge-sur-Geer, you can still find traces of the Roman military road between Cologne and France. The 'Via jecore' is now a beautiful bike path. In spring, wood anemones bloom on the slopes, and in summer, rare orchids. A true natural gem.
However, the area has much more to offer! The woodland has its charms in every season, and anyone searching for the sounds of the Yellowhammer, Crested Tit, or Nuthatch will never be bored. You also hike past a border chapel, pingoruins, and rabatten.
