While parents enjoy the peace in the renovated woodland canteen, children can romp in the play dunes, marvel at the wild boars in the wild boar meadow, or embark on a discovery adventure with the educational nature experience map, which also includes a treasure hunt.
This map is available during opening hours at the Ter Duinen woodland canteen or the reception of Visit Houthalen-Helchteren. There will also be a bee hall where visitors can learn all about the life of bees.
Thanks to the open landscapes and natural diversity, each season is different here. Ideal for families, nature lovers, and anyone wanting to escape the bustle for a while.
