Extensive description CloseThe landscape hiking trail Alden Biesen, on the eastern slope of the Demervallei, takes you past the tall-stemmed orchards of the Alden Biesen estate, vast fields on the plateaus, stream valleys with humid micronature, and stunning panoramas. In the middle of the area, the Grand Commandery Alden Biesen proudly stands. This monumental castle site left a strong mark on the surroundings and the history of the region.
